			<description><![CDATA[<div class="feed-description"><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Main purpose of the job:</strong><br />The post-holder will closely with Prof. Matt Whiteman (Medical School) and Dr. Mark Wood (Biosciences) to study the effects of novel mitochondria-targeted hydrogen sulfide donor molecules on endothelial cells and isolated blood vessels from animals with/without diabetes. Educated to PhD level or equivalent within a Pharmacology background, you will have experience in blood vessel myography and / or endothelial cell biology and an interest in the physiology and pharmacology of ‘gasotransmitters’ and mitochondria. An understanding of pre-clinical drug development and data confidentiality is desirable.</p>

Educated to BSc/MChem level or equivalent (PhD level desirable) within a synthetic organic chemistry background, you will have experience in the synthesis, purification and characterisation of organic compounds. An understanding of pre-clinical drug development and data confidentiality is desirable.</p>

			<description><![CDATA[<div class="feed-description"><p>The position of a postdoctoral researcher (m/f) is available in the Pole of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Institute for Experimental and Clinical Research, Université Catholique de Louvain, Brussels. The position focuses on the signaling of cardiovascular remodeling. A major part of the project will be to dissect the role of cardiac beta3-adrenergic receptors and nitric oxide synthase in metabolic remodeling of the stressed myocardium.</p>
